Blackberry Ice Recipe
Ingredients:
6 c of blackberries (ripe)
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
Juice from 2 pcs of lemons
3/4 c of black currant liqueur (Creme de Cassis)
Instructions:
Combine the blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, and liqueur inside a saucepan above moderate heat. Stir occasionally and cook for twenty mins or till all the berries burst. Let it cool for a while then force them through sieve and let it cool completely.
Pour mixture on a metal cake pan and place inside a freezer. When mixture becomes almost frozen, about 2-3 hrs, take pan out and scrape ice mixture on a mixing bowl. Beat till softened and mixed thoroughly. Return on pan and place inside freezer.
Let it freeze inside freezer completely. When serving, transfer pan inside the refrigerator at about 15-30 mins before serving.
