Calvados Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients:
3 Tbsps of syrup (simple)
1-3/4 c & 2 Tbsps of Calvados
For the (Simple) Syrup:
4 c of sugar (refined)
4 c of water
Instructions:
Heat Calvados on the saucepan above moderate heat till warmed. Turn heat off then touch the flaming match onto the warm Calvados. Allow to flame till it dies down, at about eight mins.
Get six tablespoons of Calvados then combine with the syrup inside the ice cream maker. Freeze. Yields 4 cups.
For the syrup, combine sugar and water inside the saucepan; simmer till sugar has dissolved completely. Let syrup cool thoroughly. Store inside an airtight jar.
