Double Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients:
“Old Time Vanilla” recipe, but use half cup granulated white sugar, instead of brown sugar
2 oz of unsweetened chocolate (good quality)
1 Tbsp of chocolate cocoa powder (Dutch)
Instructions:
Prepare mixture like “Old Time Vanilla” recipe. Melt chocolate on a bain-marie. Gradually add cocoa while constantly stirring.
Gradually add the prepared mix, while constantly stirring till mixture becomes smooth and thick. Once it cools slightly, pour onto the rest of prepared mix; stir thoroughly.
Refrigerate for 4 hrs. Place inside the (ice cream) maker and freeze.
