Champagne Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients:

4 c. of water
1.5 c. of syrup
1 bottle of Champagne
4 c. of sugar

Instructions:

To make about a quart of syrup, mix sugar and water in saucepan. Simmer ’til sugar dissolves. Allow to cool (preferably room temperature), store in covered container and refrigerate.

Pour syrup and champagne into machine bowl and then freeze. This makes approximately 5 cups.

Alcohol sorbets defrost promptly, so do not take this out of machine ’til serving time. This can be served with strawberries during dessert or during dinner.
