Chocolate Almond Recipe
Ingredients:
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
8 oz bittersweet chocolate
1 cup milk
2 cups table cream (18%PRCTG% milk fat)
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 c of almonds (toasted)
Instructions:
Gently beat the eggs then add sugar and beat thoroughly. Heat (1 cup) cream, chocolate, and milk on a saucepan; stir frequently till chocolate begins melting. Once chocolate has melted partially, add cocoa; stir thoroughly till dissolved completely and mixture has heated through.
Make sure not to let it boil. Take out from heat and add onto the egg mixture; stir thoroughly and add vanilla and remaining cream.
Let it cool then freeze inside the (ice cream) maker. When mixture starts to harden, add the almonds then continue freezing.
