Chocolate Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
6 pcs of egg yolks
1 c of cream (table)
1 c of milk
1/2 c of refined sugar
1/2 c of chocolate (semisweet)
1 c of cream (whipping)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/8 tsp of fine salt
5 oz of canned nuts (Macadamia); chopped
Instructions:
Beat the eggs on a bowl then add sugar; beat them well. Heat milk and cream on a saucepan above moderate heat then melt the chocolate on another saucepan.
Once milk has heated through, gradually add onto the chocolate, while stirring constantly.
Add the hot milk chocolate mixture onto the egg mixture; stir thoroughly then let it cool thoroughly. Add cream, salt, and vanilla.
Place inside the (ice cream) maker and freeze. When mixture starts to harden, add the nuts then continue to freeze.
