Coffee Recipe II
Ingredients:
1 c of milk (whole)
1/4 c of coffee (ground)
1 c of sugar (refined)
3 pcs of beaten eggs (large)
1/8 tsp of salt
1 Tbsp of vanilla
3 c of half-and-half
Instructions:
Heat the milk on a saucepan above medium-high heat till mixture forms bubbles on edges. Take out from the heat then add half of sugar and coffee; stir thoroughly. Gradually pour onto the bowl w/ eggs, whisk constantly.
Place the mixture back on the saucepan and add salt and rest of sugar; stir continuously above medium-high heat for 3 to 4 mins or till thick.
Add (1 cup) half-and-half and vanilla; place inside the refrigerator till chilled. Strain then add the rest of half-and-half then freeze inside the (ice cream) maker.
