Dark Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
6 ounces of chocolate (unsweetened)
2 Tablespoons of butter
2 cups of sugar (refined)
1/3 cup of corn syrup (light)
2 cups of half-and-half
4 pieces of eggs (large)
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 cups of cream (whipping)
Instructions:
Melt butter and chocolate on a saucepan above gentle heat, while stirring occasionally. Add sugar, (2/3 cup) half-and-half, and syrup; stir thoroughly and let it boil. Once boiling, simmer for 4 mins, undisturbed; set on the side.
Beat the eggs on a bowl till blended. Add (1/2 cup) mixture of chocolate; stir thoroughly then pour onto the remaining mixture of chocolate.
Cook above moderate heat; stir constantly till slightly thick then add vanilla, remaining half-and-half, and cream.
Freeze inside the ice cream maker.
