Honey Apple Cinnamon Raisin Walnut Recipe
Ingredients:
1/3 c of raisins
1/2 c of honey
1 c of milk (whole)
1/4 c of syrup (apple)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 c of water
4 eggyolks
1 c of half-and-half
1 c of cream
1/3 c of walnuts (chopped)
Instructions:
Soak raisins in water for several hours or overnight. You beat eggyolks in small bowl. You mix the honey and half-and-half in small pan. Have it heated ’til boiling.
Pour one-half of milk-honey mix into yolks, beat while pouring. Mix well then beat it into the remaining milk-honey mix inside the pan.
You mix it over low-heat for about 3-5 mins. Add the syrup in. Cool completely before you add the cream. Add cinnamon before transferring into ice-cream machine.
Have raisins drained then combine w/ walnuts. Once ice-cream stiffens, you add the walnuts & raisins.
