How To Make Delicious Fried Ice Cream Treats

How To Make Delicious Fried Ice Cream Treats

Fried ice cream sounds weird, right? At first, I was skeptical with the thought of frying a delicate & cold ice cream or sorbet. The 1st instance that I tasted this dessert inside a restaurant, I felt an awesome experience. The lovely dessert was crispy outside yet inside it was sweet, cold and creamy. It tasted even more delicious when the cold creamy filling started to ooze outside the fried crust.

However, after eating my first fried sorbet (ice cream), just like me, you would probably think it’s hard making this sumptuous dessert. But believe me, it’s really not. It’s fairly easy.

Imagine how your visitors, friends & family members would react when they’ll be offered this unique dessert. Anyway, making this yummy dessert needs some advanced skills. Start preparing the materials/ingredients needed during the morning. This will allow you to have more time making this yummy treat.

This recipe requires the most important ingredient – ice cream or sorbet. You may explore with different flavors until you become adept in the procedure. Vanilla is a good start. All you need is a round scoop of vanilla-flavored sorbet. Make at least 8 to 12 sorbet balls then arrange them onto a cookie/baking sheet.

After you finish rolling up the sorbet balls, chill them inside the fridge to maintain their shape. They should be cooked when they’ve already chilled very well so they’ll hold their shape during the whole frying process.

Ingredients

3 c crushed cornflakes
1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
3 pcs eggs
Chocolate toppings (sauce, fudge, shavings)
Whipping cream (whipped up)
Honey

Directions

Scoop ice cream into balls; cover then place in freezer until very firm, at least 3 hrs. Crush up cornflakes and put them inside a medium-sized mixing bowl. Make sure that cornflakes are really crushed fine so it will be easier for them to stick together

Beat together the eggs until whites have incorporated with yolks. Afterwards, take out your ice cream chilled balls then dip them in your blended eggs then roll all around the crushed cornflakes until fully coated then put them back in your freezer for 3 more hours.

If you’re ready to serve up your dessert then just fill your fryer with some oil. Then, fry your chilled balls up and just cook for about 15 secs. After 15 secs, take them out from the fryer then put them onto a nice serving dish then garnish with honey and whipped up cream. You could also garnish with other stuff that you’d like. This depends on your preference now.

Serve your delicious treats to everyone and for sure they’ll be asking for seconds so make lots of these wonderful dessert treats.
