Mint Chocolate Chip Recipe
Ingredients:
Old Time Vanilla Ice Cream; omit brown sugar
1/3 c of sugar
1 & 1/2 tsp of extract (mint)
1 c semi-sweet choco chips (mini)
Graham cracker crust-pie shell
Instructions:
Follow the recipe for making Old-Time Vanilla Ice-cream, change the sugar (brown) into 1/3 c of sugar. You combine 1 & 1/2 teaspoons of extract once the ice-cream is nearly frozen.
Then you add a cup of semi-sweet choco chips into mixture. Scoop evenly into 2 nine-inch crust-pie shells.
Take rose leaves that are small, wash & dry well. Melt the rest of choco chips in double-broiler. With your butter-knife, thinly spread one melted choco layer into back and sides of your leaves. Freezer for 20 mins.
Add another choco coating then put back in your freezer. Once they are completely frozen, have leaves peeled from your chocolate then use this as garnish of your pie.
