Mother Lode Butter Brickle Recipe
Ingredients:
Old Time Vanilla Ice Cream
4 Tbsps of butter
1/3 c of sugar
1 Tbsp of water
1/2 c of pecans; chopped
Instructions:
Follow the recipe for the vanilla ice-cream.
Grease one wide flat bake sheet. Have your butter melted in saucepan. Add water & sugar then allow to boil. Constantly stir while heating ’til it reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit on candy thermometer.
Remove pan from fire then you add the pecans. You spread mixture into prepared sheet. Allow to cool then break it into pieces then fold it into frozen vanilla ice-cream.
