Peach Frozen Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c. of sugar
1/2 tsp. of vanilla
1 tsp. of gelatin
1/2 c. of milk
1/8 tsp. of nutmeg
1.5 lbs. of peaches; quartered and peeled
1 c. of yogurt (plain)
2 Tbsps. of corn syrup
Instructions:
In saucepan, combine sugar, gelatin and nutmeg. Mix the milk, letting it stand for a minute. Put over minimal heat for 5 min. or ’til gelatin is dissolved, constantly stirring.
Remove mixture from the heat and pour in corn syrup. Allow mixture to cool. Put peaches through the food mill, processing ’til smooth. Scrape bowl sides from time to time. Combine gelatin, vanilla, puree and yogurt.
Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover mixture and let it chill for eight hours.
Transfer mixture to machine bowl then freeze.
