Pistachio Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/4 c of pistachio; shelled, blanched, and peeled
2-1/2 c of milk (whole)
3 pcs of eggs (large)
1 c of sugar (refined)
1 c of whipped cream (heavy)
1 tsp of almond extract
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Combine pistachio, milk, sugar, and eggs; blend thoroughly till mixture becomes green and smooth. Pour onto the saucepan and cook above gentle heat till it thickens, or for 25 mins. Don’t boil.
Let it cool then add the extracts and stir thoroughly. Fold whipped heavy cream onto the green mixture. Freeze inside the (ice cream) maker.
