Watermelon Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c. of water
2 c. of watermelon; pureed
1/3 c. of sugar
1/3 c. of corn syrup (light)
1 Tbsp. of lemon extract
Instructions:
In saucepan, combine syrup, sugar and water. Stir ’til mixture boils. Lower heat, simmering for about 5 min.
Allow mixture to cool then refrigerate. Puree watermelon in blender, removing the seeds beforehand.
Measure 3 cupfuls of watermelon, adding them to your sugar, syrup, water mixture. Add the lemon extract to mixture as well.
Transfer mixture to machine bowl for about 20-30 minutes or as desired.
